§ Mr. HayWe have not yet received complete reports on the conditions experienced. When we have them they will be carefully studied. Preliminary reports indicate that the special arrangements made for clearing snow from the carriageways worked satisfactorily, but that many motorists ran into difficulties through travelling too fast under what were inevitably unfavourable conditions.
