§ Captain Kerbyasked the Civil Lord of the Admiralty if he will examine again the application of Lieutenant J. H. S. Gordon to retire voluntarily from the Royal Marines, in view of the fact that it is not in the interests of Her Majesty's service to retain officers against their own will.
§ Mr. C. Ian Orr-EwingI have already explained fully to my hon. and gallant Friend why this officer cannot be immediately released from the Service. I will, however, review the case in about six months' time.
