asked the President of the Board of Trade what specific encouragement is being given to industrialists to site new industries in Cardiff.

The Board of Trade is prepared to see more industry located in the Cardiff area and its officers take every opportunity to bring the advantages of the area to the attention of suitable industrialists. Over 1,000 jobs should accrue in Cardiff during the next year or so as a result of projects which are in hand or in prospect.
