§ Mr. MaudlingThe principal industrial goods on which United Kingdom tariffs are two times or more greater70W than the United States tariff on the same goods, are cars, motor-cycles, cameras, radio valves and some optical instruments. There are similar differences on the United States side over a range of goods of interest to this country.
It is our intention to negotiate with the U.S.A. for further reductions in tariffs in the present G.A.T.T. Conference early in the new year.
