§ 91. Sir A. Hurdasked the Minister of Defence what arrangements are made by British Service units and United States units stationed in this country to ensure that waste food which may contain scraps of South American meat is effectively sterilised at concentrator plants for use for pig feeding.
§ Mr. WatkinsonBritish Service Units dispose of their waste foods in accordance with The Diseases of Animals (Waste Foods) Order, 1957. Waste food is disposed of by United States Service Units under special rules laid down by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food which incorporate certain additional safeguards.
