§ Mr. H. BrookeBetween 1st April, 1945, and 31st March, 1951, the Council borrowed £1,417,368 for housing purposes, and paid a total of £616,139 in interest and repayment of capital.
Between 1st April, 1951, and 31st March, 1959, it borrowed £4,848,154 and paid £1,947,315.
