HC Deb 14 April 1960 vol 621 cc153-5W
57. Mr. Mulley

asked the Minister of Education if he will publish in the OFFICIAL REPORT the numbers of candidates passing in the various subjects of the National Diploma of Design in the last three years; and whether he is satisfied with the arrangements this year for the examinations in modelling and sculpture.

Sir D. Eccles

I am circulating below the figures asked for in the OFFICIAL REPORT. I have arranged that the time allowed for the original design test in modelling and sculpture shall be increased from ten to eighteen hours in the forthcoming examination and for new measures to be taken for correlating the assessment of the different subjects.
