HC Deb 05 April 1960 vol 621 c30W
55. Mr. Steele

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he is aware of the effect of a recent decision in the Court of Session in the case of Park v. Colvilles Limited, on the Legal Aid Scheme; and what steps he now proposes to take to ensure that all expenses reasonably incurred by an agent for protection of his client's interests will be met.

Mr. Macpherson

My right hon. Friend is aware of the decision in this case, but as it does not appear to alter what has been the situation ever since the Legal Aid Scheme first started, he does not consider there are any steps he need take in the matter.
