§ Mr. Marquandasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies when elections under the new Constitution of Dominica will be held.
§ Mr. AlportIt was agreed at the Constitutional Conference in June, 1959, that a general election should be held in Dominica within a reasonable time after the 1st June, 1960. That is the earliest time possible to allow for the preparation of new electoral lists for the new constituencies which the Conference agreed should be created.
