asked the Minister of Housing and Local Government and Minister for Welsh Affairs whether he is aware that the Dagenham Council intends to develop the site behind Messrs. Flemmings's warehouse in High Road, Chadwell Heath, for a nursery school and housing; and whether he will ensure that this fact is taken account of in deciding the future use of this site

Permission was given on 4th September for the erection of a warehouse on this site, following a local inquiry into a planning appeal by the owner of the land. The Inspector was informed at the inquiry that the land was no longer required for school purposes, and that the local authority had no proposals to acquire it for housing.
