Johnsonasked the Minister of Housing and Local Government and Minister for Welsh Affairs what request he has had from the Rugby Rural District Council regarding the purchase of the Admiralty Gunnery Equipment Sub-Depot, Rugby Road, Binley, as a site for light industry; and whether he has yet made a decision in the matter.
§ Mr. BevinsThe council has inquired whether my right. hon. Friend would be likely to give it consent under Section 40 of the Town and Country Planning126W Act, 1947, to acquire this site. He is awaiting a reply to a letter sent to the council on 6th March asking for certain additional information about the project.
