§ 66 Mr. Swinglerasked the Minister of Housing and Local Government and Minister for Welsh Affairs if he has now considered the letter from the Town Clerk of Newcastle-under-Lyme concerning the promised mineral valuer's report on George Street, sent to him by the honourable Member for Newcastle-under-Lyme on 1st May; and if he will now take steps to assist the council to speed up consideration of the erection of flats on this site.
§ Mr. H. BrookeI am informed that the mineral valuer has now sent a letter to the Town Clerk confirming that he is unable to recommend in favour of the Council's proposals for building flats of nine or more storeys.
