20. Mr. Hamilton

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland whether, in view of the increasing value and importance of the work being done by the Scottish Old People's Welfare Committee, he will now consider an increase in their annual grant.

The Committee, whose good work my right hon. Friend is glad to have this opportunity of acknowledging, are, he understands, seeking the additional income they require from other sources.
