§ 15. Mr. Patrick Maitlandasked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will state the cost of maintaining Scottish Special Housing Association houses standing empty at Douglas and Douglas, West, in the county of Lanark.
§ Mr. Nixon BrowneThe normal annual cost of maintaining the Association's houses at Douglas, whether empty or occupied, is between £3 and £4 per year. As stated in my reply of 5th May, the Association does not own any houses at Douglas West.
