§ 64. Colonel Beamishasked the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster by whom the re-appraisal of the Overseas Service of the British Broadcasting Corporation is being carried out; what are their terms of reference; and when, to whom, and in what form, they will report.
Dr. HillA re-appraisal of the Overseas Services in English is being carried out by the British Broadcasting Corporation in consultation with the prescribing Departments. The object of the review is to ensure that the most effective contribution is made to the projection of the United Kingdom overseas. The results of the review will be reported to Ministers in due course.
