§ Sir A. Bossomasked the President of the Board of Trade if he will prohibit the importation of cider apples, and the extracted juice from cider apples, in view of the fact that there are ample quantities of such apples available for use each year in this country.
§ Mr. Vaughan-MorganIt would be contrary to our international obligations to prohibit imports of apples or juice in present circumstances. In addition to the existing quota for apples, licences for cider apples are issued only when imports are needed to supplement home supplies.
