HC Deb 25 March 1959 vol 602 cc143-4W
Mr. Robert Cooke

asked the Minister of Health what plans exist for the rebuilding of Saint Thomas's Hospital; and whether, in view of the proximity of the site to the Palace of Westminster, he will ensure that opportunity will be given to hon. Members to express their views on any plans that have been made.

Mr. Walker-Smith

The Board of Governors has recently submitted a block plan which is receiving consideration. A model of the Board's proposals as they then were was on view to hon. Members early last year, and I will give a further opportunity for them to see a model and drawings of the final proposals as soon as practicable.
