§ Mr. Malcolm MacMillanasked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs what representations he has made recently to the Spanish Government 127W about the continued restrictions upon public worship by British Protestants in Spain; what replies he has received; and what further action he proposes to take to safeguard the spiritual liberty and rights of Her Majesty's subjects in Spain.
§ Mr. R. AllanI know of no restrictions that apply exclusively to British Protestants in Spain. The status of Protestants in Spain generally is a matter of domestic Spanish law, and Her Majesty's Government have nolocus standi for formal representations.
