§ Dr. Broughtonasked the Minister of Health if, in view of the publicity given in various medical journals during the past few months to the possible side effects and dangers of taking aspirin, and particularly in view of recent evidence, details of which have been sent to him by the hon. Member for Batley and Morley, concerning the high incidence of gastritis and haemorrhage caused by aspirin, he will consider restricting the distribution of salicylates to medical prescription.
