§ Mr. NugentThe cost of operating the driving test from its inception in 1935 until 1940 is not readly ascertainable. From 1940 to 1946 no tests were conducted. During the 12 years ended April, 1958, costs amounted to £5,108,337, and revenue from fess was £4,226,255.
