HC Deb 04 March 1959 vol 601 c43W
65. Mr. Fletcher-Cooke

asked the Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation what steps are being taken to implement the recommendations of the Jack Report on conditions at London Airport.

Mr. Hay

The responsibility for taking action as a result of the conclusions of the court of inquiry into the recent dispute at London Airport rests with the two sides of the industry, to whom the Report has been referred. The Airways Corporations, especially B.O.A.C. have kept us informed about the action they have taken. I understand that they have fully implemented the recommendations of the report so far as action lies within their control.
