The following is an explanation of the principles on which hardship allocations were made:
The Board of Trade will deal with applications for allocations of imported Dutch bulbs on grounds of hardship as follows:
New Allocations Those who have not previously imported £100* Those with an existing allocation of £160 or less £200* Those with an existing allocation of more than £160 but not more than £800. 125 per cent. of existing allocation* Those with an existing allocation of more than £800 but less than £1,000 £1,000* * or such lesser amount as has been requested.
