§ 83. Sir H. Linsteadasked the Minister of Housing and Local Government and Minister for Welsh Affairs whether he has yet come to a decision on the proposal by the London County Council to increase the height of Block 21 on the Alton Estate, Roehampton, from eight storeys to 10 storeys; what public notice was given by the London County Council of the proposed addition of the two storeys; and what opportunity those who are adversely affected by the change will have of exercising their statutory right of objecting to it.
§ Mr. BevinsMy right hon. Friend understands that the London County Council has not given public notice of this proposal, but it has received a number of objections which it is now considering. The London County Council has not yet consulted him officially about its proposal. Before authorising the London County Council to depart in this respect from the terms of the permission granted to it by his predecessor, my right hon. Friend would consider any objections and the views of the London County Council upon them.
