§ Mr. WatkinsonAll the suggestions made at the meeting to which my hon. Friend refers are being actively examined by my Department in collaboration with the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents; many of them call for action by individuals and organisations rather than by my Ministry. I should like to take this opportunity of expressing my gratitude to the organisers of the meeting for their valuable initiative, the results of which will be of great help to us both in giving advice to road users and when considering the possibility of future road safety legislation.
