§ Mr. Iain Macleod392 persons were registered as unemployed on 12th January, 1959, compared with 117 on 18th January, 1958. Of these 113 and 4, respectively, were registered as temporarily stopped. Statistics about short-time working are not available for individual employment exchanges.
