§ 100. Mr. Snowasked the Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation what reply he has sent to the Shenstone and District Car Club arising out of their letter of 2nd February, 1959; and, notwithstanding the need for a coherent system of road signs, and in view of the fact that the danger sign erected by the club in the vicinity of the junction of A.5 and A.38 near Wall and Shenstone, Staffordshire, and which he removed, had contributed to a reduction in accidents at this point, 62W if he will now authorise the re-erection of this sign.
§ Mr. NugentThe warning and direction signs at the junction have recently been comprehensively improved and I do not think that the sign erected by the Car Club is now necessary. We are informing the Club accordingly.
