§ 21. Mr. Albuasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies what steps are being taken in Kenya to expand the resources of credit for African farmers.
§ Mr. J. AmeryLoans are at present made to individual farmers by the Land Development Board in nine districts acting jointly with African District Councils. It is hoped that when the Native Lands Registration Bill has been passed farmers will be better placed to obtain help from the Banks and from the Government Land and Agriculture Bank.
