§ Captain Kerbyasked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Admiralty whether the destroyers H.M.S. "St. Kitts", H.M.S. "Barfleur", H.M.S. "Comet", H.M.S. "Chieftain", H.M.S. "Consort", and H.M.S. "Cockade", are now for disposal; and on what grounds they are no longer required, in view of the fact that ships of their classes today form the backbone of the Royal Navy's destroyer forces.
§ Mr. Orr-EwingYes. Within the limits of the approved Naval plan, these ships, because of their age and condition, have had to give way to better ships.
