§ Mr. Malcolm MacMillanasked the Secretary of State for Scotland what was the average percentage pass for each subject on the higher and lower standard in the Scottish leaving certificate in the Nicolson Institute, Stornoway, in each of the last three years; and what, in each case, in the same years, was the average percentage pass for Scotland as a whole.
§ Mr. MaclayIt would be contrary to long-established practice, as agreed with the main educational bodies concerned, to disclose comparative figures relating to the standard attained in the Scottish leaving Certificate Examination by the pupils of individual schools.
