§ Mr. H. BrookeIn England and Wales, there are at present 23 alkali inspectors of various grades. I intend to appoint more inspectors in 1960, as training opportunities occur. Under a directing staff centred in London the inspectorate is organised into 12 districts, each in charge of a District Inspector who, in some districts, is assisted by an Inspector.
