HC Deb 03 December 1959 vol 614 cc157-8W
107. Mr. Fisher

asked the Minister of State for Commonwealth Relations how much of the £1,500,000 per annum voted by this House under the Commonwealth Settlement Act is actually being spent in the present financial year; and in what way.

Mr. Alport

The amount voted by Parliament for 1959–60 was £173,200, virtually all of which is being spent. For details I would refer my hon. Friend to the Civil Estimates, Class II, Head 6, Subheads B and C.
