46. Mr. Greenwood

asked the Postmaster-General whether he is aware of the lack of telephone call-boxes on Cutler Greens Estate, Stacksteads, Bacup; and what steps he is taking to repair the omission.

Mr. Bevins

There is already a kiosk within a quarter of a mile of the estate. This kiosk is not heavily used and in the circumstances I would not feel justified in providing one on the estate itself.
