HC Deb 30 April 1959 vol 604 c155W
Captain Kerby

asked the Secretary to the Treasury what undertaking was given by Her Majesty's Stationery Office, in return for the assurance given by all the trade unions concerned not to interfere in Stationery Office printing works' production in the event of a nation-wide strike in the printing industry, with regard to the 40-hour week and other union demands.

Mr. Simon

The unions asked for no undertaking and none was given.
