HC Deb 15 April 1959 vol 603 c80W
67. Mr. Corfield

asked the Secretary of State for Air what proposals he has for the disposal of the Royal Air Force station at Pucklechurch; and if, in the light of employment trends in the area, he will bear in mind the need to utilise the buildings available for industrial purposes.

Mr. Ward

The station is not likely to close for some months. If there is no other Government use for the site we shall then sell it. Subject to the views of the local planning authority, we should certainly be prepared to consider selling it to an industrial firm.
