§ Mr. G. R. Straussasked the Minister of Education whether he will now further consider the letter from the hon. Member for Lambeth, Vauxhall, setting out the bad conditions existing at St. Stephen's School, Dorset Road, and the adverse effect these have on the staff and the children working there, with a view to permitting some of the more serious defects to be remedied.
§ Sir E. BoyleMy hon. Friend the Parliamentary Secretary replied to the hon. Member's letter on 6th January, explaining that I could not approve the replacement of this school at present. I cannot yet add anything to what he said then.
