§ Mr. Arbuthnotasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether he will increase the limit of £10 on the amount of sterling notes which a traveller may bring into the United Kingdom.
Mr. AmoryI have decided that all restrictions on the import of sterling notes into the United Kingdom can now be removed. The necessary Order has been laid before Parliament today and will come into operation on 28th February.
