§ Mr. Owenasked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs what steps are being considered by Her Majesty's Government to assist in establishing an African Office for the Food and Agriculture Organisation of the United Nations.
§ Mr. Ian HarveyHer Majesty's Government have not yet been asked formally to assist in this matter, but the Director-General of the Food and Agriculture Organisation has called a conference of the Governments concerned to discuss arrangements for setting up the African office. Her Majesty's Government will of course be represented at this meeting.
