§ Mr. HareThe Colouring Matter in Food Regulations limit the use of dyes to those which the Food Standards Committee have advised are harmless. I have no reason to believe that these regulations are contravened by kipperers or by anyone else, or that the Food and Drugs authorities, whose responsibility it is, are not adequately enforcing the regulations.
