§ The Prime MinisterThe hon. Gentleman is quite wrong in suggesting that I asked Dr. Adenauer to cancel his visit. On the contrary, I welcomed the suggestion that he should come to London for discussions and was much disappointed when he was forced to cancel his arrangements because of illness.
