HC Deb 10 December 1958 vol 597 c70W
94. Mr. G. Thomas

asked the Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation what recent proposals have been submitted to him by the local authority concerning the provision of adequate parking space in Cardiff.

Mr. Nugent

In October. 1957, the Cardiff City Council put forward proposals for a multi-storey car park for about 530 cars in Wood Street; consent to borrow the capital sum involved has been given by my right hon. Friend the Minister of Housing and Local Government. I understand that this scheme is part of a larger general plan which the Council have under consideration.
