HC Deb 09 December 1958 vol 597 c39W
106. Mr. Rankin

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland what estimate he has formed of the cost involved, at present values, in the transfer of 1,000 firms presently operating in Glasgow to those other towns in Scotland which will, or have agreed to, accept among them Glasgow's overspill population.

Mr. Maclay

It is not at present possible to frame any such estimate.
