§ 108. Sir D. Robertsonasked the Secretary of State for Scotland if, in view of the unsatisfactory situation in remote areas and the delay in bringing in legislation, he will now create a Diligence Fund as recommended in paragraph 248 of the Report of the Committee on Diligence.
§ Mr. MaclayI am considering this recommendation of the Committee but, like other recommendations designed to help those who have to do diligence in remote areas, it would require legislation.
