HC Deb 03 April 1958 vol 585 cc193-4W
Mr. Pentland

asked the Minister of Health if, in order to assist old-age pensioners to understand the facilities that are available to them under the hospital and other health services, he will endeavour to see that a notice is delivered to each old-age pensioner setting out in detail the benefits they are entitled to.

Mr. Walker-Smith

The health services available to old-age pensioners are those available to the community as a whole. Information about them is circulated in many ways. A number of local authorities issue booklets giving details of the services available in their areas. I do not think there is any need for me to supplement these measures.
