HC Deb 03 April 1958 vol 585 c203W
Mr. George

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he is satisfied that hospitals in Scotland as a whole, and Edinburgh Royal Infirmary in particular, are receiving supplies of drugs adequate for their needs and are maintaining furnishings and equipment in a satisfactory condition; and if he will make a statement.

Mr. Maclay

Yes. I am not aware of any failure on the part of hospital boards of management, including that for the Edinburgh Royal Infirmary, to hold in hospitals necessary supplies of drugs and to maintain furnishings and equipment, but I would be glad to look into any case which may be brought to my notice.
