Mr. Patrick Maitland

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland (1) in how many cases appeals to the Secretary of State against a refusal of planning permission by the planning authority in the Counties of Lanark, Glasgow, Renfrew, Dunbar-ton, and Fife, in the past three years have been sustained;

(2) the total number of applications for planning permission made to the local planning authority in the last three years in the Counties of Lanark, Glasgow, Renfrew, Dunbarton, and Fife, respectively; and how many were approved.
