§ Mr. Ernest Daviesasked the Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation the number of prosecutions and convictions, respectively, of operators of C-licensed vehicles for carrying for hire or reward contrary to the provisions of their licences during the last quarter of 1957; and in how many cases licences have been revoked or suspended.
§ Mr. WatkinsonDuring the quarter ended 31st December, 1957, there were 76 prosecutions of operators of C-licensed vehicles for carrying goods for hire or reward and in every case there was a conviction.
In one case the carrier's licence was revoked.
