HC Deb 11 November 1957 vol 577 cc21-2W
Mr. Dodds

asked the Attorney-General, in view of the criticism of the qualifications of medical members serving on pensions appeal tribunals, what action is being taken to implement the recommendation by the Franks Committee that each tribunal should include a practitioner with recent clinical, as distinct from administrative, experience, and that as far as possible that experience should be directly related to the type of disability before the tribunal.

The Attorney-General

My noble Friend the Lord Chancellor has this matter under consideration.
