§ 84. Mr. Donnellyasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies whether he will make a statement on his progress in paying for the orange trees in the Famagusta area that he ordered to be cut down last year; and how much has been the total cost so far involved by the decision.
§ Mr. ProfumoCompensation totalling £14,265 has been paid to 272 out of the total of 315 owners whose properties have been affected. A further £3,936 has been offered to the remaining owners but has not so far been accepted.
