Mr. Lewis

asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department to publish in HANSARD a detailed list of the roads and route taken by the march of old-age pensioners in the Metropolitan Police district on Tuesday, 26th Fegruary, 1957.

I am informed by the Commissioner of Police that the march was from Conway Hall, Red Lion Square, along Southampton Row, Vernon Place, Bloomsbury Square, Great Russell Street, Bloomsbury Street, Bedford Square, Gower Street, Torrington Place, Tottenham Court Road, Howland Street, New Cavendish Street, Portland Place and Langham Place, to Broadcasting House, and back along the same route to Red Lion Square.
