Mr. Awberyasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies what requests the Malayan Government have made to the United Nations Technical Board to make a man-power survey with a view to determining the manpower requirements that will arise after the granting of independence, particularly with reference to the training of staffs for schools, training institutions, civil service and the private sector of economy.
